Mission Statement

The mission of Cataract & Laser Center is to provide our community with compassionate, quality care. We strive for convenient, competitively priced service in our state-of-the-art facility.

Cataract & Laser Center, LLC is a state-of-the-art ophthalmic surgical facility located on the first floor of the Eye Centers of Tennessee building. In operation since April of 2002, the center is dedicated to modern ophthalmic surgery under the direction of our medical director, Dr. Larry Patterson. The facility is licensed by the State of Tennessee, Medicare certified, and received the distinction of AAAHC accreditation in March of 2010. This accreditation means that the surgery center has passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality healthcare set by the Accreditation Association.

Cataract and Laser Center houses the finest in ophthalmic surgical equipment including the Bausch and Lomb Stellaris phaco emulsifier, endocyclophotocoagulation (ECP), and the YAG laser. Services available at the center include cataract surgery, YAG laser capsulotomy, ECP as well as other ey and eyelid procedures.

In addition to traditional intraocular lens implants (IOL), we also offer new technology IOLs. There are several different options to choose from and Dr. Patterson and his staff would welcome the opportunity to discuss this new technology and answer any questions you may have.

Because we focus only on eye surgery, Cataract & Laser Center offers a high level of efficient service. This is made evident by the excellent scores and positive feedback we continue to receive from our surgical patients. We have a well-trained staff of nurses, CRNAs, technicians and support personnel who are dedicated to making each patient’s surgical experience a positive one.
