Dr. Larry Patterson recently visited the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) for the second consecutive year to lecture first year medical students on the basic principles of ophthalmology. Included in his lecture were the fundamentals of cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as other eye diseases and treatments. "I was honored to be asked to share my insight with these first year medical students. I enjoy extending my knowledge to what will be the fresh faces of the medical community." Dr. Patterson's son is currently in his second year at VCOM.
