| Larry Patterson, M.D. was elected to serve a two year term as Vice President in the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS). He will succeed to President in 2009.
The Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society provides education, information, and advocacy with government agencies for members and their ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs); and helps ASC owners and ophthalmic surgeons to provide high quality, cost-effective surgical care.
Dr. Patterson has served on the Board of Directors for OOSS over the past five years, and for the past two years has chaired the National ASC Symposium
attracting physicians and senior staff to the only meeting exclusively representing the ophthalmic ASC. Dr. Patterson is Medical Director of Eye Centers of
Tennessee, a practice which he started in 1988. The Crossville based practice has grown to include locations in Cookeville, Livingston, and Jamestown.
Eye Centers of Tennessee is a full eyecare facility offering services such as cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and routine eye exams.
Dr. Patterson is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmologists and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
