Dr. Patterson returned to Clinica Ezell for a week-long surgical and mission trip July 18-25, 2009. With him came his son Michael Patterson and daughter-in-law Lori, Dr. Patterson’s daughter Mary Patterson, and Sarah Wilson who works as a certified scrub technician and ophthalmic technician for Eye Centers of Tennessee. They were met by many other volunteers who work with the Health Talents International organization, donating their time, expertise, supplies and equipment to provide much needed medical care and surgery to the people of Guatemala.
