Dr. Goodman received a B.S. degree in Biology with a minor of physics from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and received his optometric degree from the Southern College of Optometry.

Dr. Goodman is married to Elizabeth Goodman, O.D. and they have two children. He enjoys boating, hunting, and traveling. He is very active in his church where he sings in the choir.
